Through their foundation, All Within My Hands (), they're partnering with the American Association of Community Colleges () to offer the Metallica Scholars Initiative. With scholarships and support, this program can help you get the training you need to begin a rewarding career.

Become a Metallica Scholar at FRCC
If you're enrolled in any of the five programs listed below, you can become a Metallica Scholar. This means you can receive:
- A scholarship of up to $3000 to go towards tuition
- Student services and supports
- Additional student expenses may be covered

With our hands-on training, you'll be ready for in-demand jobs across a variety of industries, including automation & engineering technology, electronic engineering technology, precision machining, optics technology and welding technology.
You鈥檒l be learning from instructors who are passionate and experts in their fields. And, you鈥檒l have access to state of the art facilities. In Longmont, you鈥檒l find FRCC鈥檚 cutting-edge Center for Integrated Manufacturing. At our Larimer Campus, both our welding facility and instructors are certified by the American Welding Society.

Launched in 2019 through a partnership of and the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) is a major workforce education program that provides direct support to community colleges to enhance their career and technical education programs. To date, they have invested over $6 million dollars to support 42 schools in 33 states鈥攊mpacting the lives of 6,000 students across the US.
