Veteran & Military Residency

Active Duty Service Members, Veterans or Dependents of Active Duty Service Members or Veterans

Colorado law allows for many military-affiliated students to receive resident tuition rates.

Active duty service members, veterans and their dependents that have been approved for in-state residency are eligible to receive a stipend from the College Opportunity Fund, in addition to in-state tuition rates.

To Receive In-State Tuition

Military-affiliated students are given resident rates based on their application for admission. Once approved, their tuition bill will show 鈥淣on-Resident Military鈥 as the rate, which has in-state rates included.

  • If your student record does not show that you have been approved, you'll need to submit our simple online .

  • Students on Active Duty will need to submit a Correction to Application for Military/Veteran Tuition Classification form each semester while on Active Duty.

The Correction to Application for Military/Veteran Tuition Classification form will be electronically submitted to the Registrar's Office. The deadline is no later than 30 days after the start of your first class. We'll send you an email once it has been reviewed.
